(Munich, April 20, 2025) Represented in the championship calendar for the first time, 31 teams from the Mitropa Rally Cup (MRC) will be competing in the Rally Poreč in Croatia.
At this 3rd round of this year's championship, the teams registered from 6 nations will be fighting for valuable points for this year's championship. Italy and Slovenia are represented by 8 teams each, Germany and Hungary by 5 teams each, 4 teams are travelling from Austria and one team is coming from Slovakia. In the classification for modern vehicles in accordance with the FIA regulations, 17 teams will be competing, while 7 teams will be chasing points in each of the classification groups for historic vehicles and the internal Club Championship.
The rally begins on Friday evening at 20:00 with a start ceremony in the old town centre of Poreč on the Istrian peninsula. On Saturday at 7.45 am, the engines of the rally cars will start for the first leg with 8 special stages before they are expected back in the paddock for an overnight break at 8.20 pm. On Sunday morning, the chase for the best times begins at 8.30 am. After 4 more timed special stages, the winners and runners-up will take to the podium at 15:00.
