Following the Mitropa Rally Cup Committee meeting held during the annual awards ceremony last Saturday, the provisional calendar for 2026 has been approved. The program comprises a total of 10 races, with the best 6 results counting towards the championship.

On Saturday evening, the annual awards ceremony took place in a festive setting at the Kavalierhaus Salzburg. The winners received their trophies and awards from President Norberto Droandi. To mark the 60th season of the Mitropa Rally Cup, all previous winners from the past 60 years were also invited to this festive occasion.
“The Mitropa Rally Cup is a series that has shaped rallying over six decades and several generations. From the early days of road racing to the modern rallies of today, the Mitropa Cup has always brought nations and people together across borders with their passion for this sport,” said Norberto Droandi in his laudatory speech.
This resulted in the largest award ceremony in the history of the Mitropa Rally Cup, with over 160 people in attendance. Until the early hours of the morning, many stories from the past and present provided entertaining conversation.
